Level star not filling up

I'm at level 25 in castle story and my level star is not filling up as I earn them. Is anyone else experiencing this?

As you get into the higher levels, it seems to take longer for the bottom feet of the star to show any progress. Keep earning stars and you'll eventually see progress.

I found things were not registering for me I reset my app and when I reopened it it was working again
