Question & Answers
Trials and Tribute quest
How do you complete the trials and tribute quest?
Answer from: Muffy
I don't know. For some reason, some people have a skip cost of 50 gems per trial, and some people have a skip cost of 100 gens per trial. It's strange. I did manage to complete the Trial of the Explorer part of the quest. As far as I can tell, I did this by expanding twice. I expanded to the 2 sections at the left area sort of above the existing area. It may require a certain number of expansions, though. I'm really not sure.

I satisfied that challenge by expanding into the top left corner only. I WISH that to skip a challenge it would only cost me 50 or 100 gems! Mine requires 200 gems per skip which is way too high. Still no idea how to satisfy the requirements of the other challenges in Trials and Tribute. Have dug deeply several times, crafted highest level items, planted and harvested each type of crop and tended all animals etc. My knight have travelled on the furthest quests (desert sands) and all easier quests, but still no ticks against any other challenges. Disappointed so far. Team Lava, look after your loyal gamers. Our gems purchased pay your salary!

Same, I do expand all of normal land (without expension paper) to complete those part. The other still mystery.

Im not sure how to complete the challenges i havent gotten any badges so far! but i did notice that when i went up a level in the game the skip price went from 100 gems to 50 gems. not sure if this was a glitch or if the price drops by level
Answer from: Lane
I recently leveled up to 23, and the skip price was 50 when I started this quest, so level may have something to do with it.

I just got the miner's badge. I imagine it's earned by "collect from the mines 50 times" or something like that. I wasn't counting.

I completed the trial of the nurturer by having all the plants you buy or craft on my land. I got the badge when I grew a full grown Lovepuff, if that helps anyone. But out of the plants I have, there is all three trees that require gems, the apple, lemon and orange trees.

I claimed my nurture badge by planting and watering loads of trees
Answer from: missy
Im sure the gem cost to skip depends on how close you are to completing the goal
Answer from: saffyanne
The skip cost keeps changing on mine. one day its 50 gems then 100 then 200 then 50. and ive collected planted harvested etc but never got a badge. frustrating.

I've managed to get 3 badges so far - farmer, miner and slayer. Like a previous posted said, I'm fairly sure is just 'do something so many times', so keep with it. Im sure it will only be a matter of time until we all satisfy the knights trials. :)
Answer from: Sapphire
I have all the badges except Brewer's, and all I can say is that it takes time. It seems like for each badge you have to complete some action a certain amount of times (ex. Chef's for making enough feasts, Explorer's for expanding enough). The badge names and descriptions give clues on what actions are required. Beyond that it's just a matter of patience.
