Upkeep cost on food
Why is my upkeep so high on my food and how do I change?

Based on how many troops you have vs how much food you produce. Just means you will zip through your food supplies. However, if you want high might, you need a lot of troops. So, it's part of the game. Not to worry though, your troops will not die off if you have 0 food. Just keep farming persistently, ask alliance for help with food too. And keep building that might n training those troops!

Having an alliance that is active is a great option if you are just starting out and still have a significantly low level. I am a Level 28 with an alliance who are 40 plus so they are very supportive and help me to build. Farming can be an issue. I try to use all my food and gold each day, my Vault is 9, as is my Keep, my homes, my farms and my barracks also 9. Dont do wall defenses as they attract higher level players to come look!
