Stuck at Pinkie Pie's quest!

Help! I'm stuck at Pinkie Pie's quest "Everybody's Favourite" it says to Find and tap the pony in the box, it's a pastel purple pony with pastel yellow mane. Can someone tell me where to find it? I don't want to waste another gem skipping it :/

Just look around your "town" for a cardboardbox with a pair of eyes. Then you'll find Derpy hoofs

Just look around ponyville. I often find her at random times, so just look around and wait.
