Getting rid of ants
When ants show up in the kitchen the special cinnamon ingredient always does too. I can get my people to prepare the ingredient in the workshop but they can't do anything else with it and they just continue to stomp the ants. What am I missing?
Answer from: tlynn20
To make the cinnamon stiff I think you drag an adult to the table in the workshop that's closest to the door with the new items on it... they should know what to do
Answer from: Browniebakery:.
When you finish making the cinnamon ingredient, there would be a yellow thing by the trash bins. Use the adult that made the cinnamon to pick it up. The persons action would say finishing ant spray. Then, when the person is spraying and clouds of fog come out, make sure NO ONE ELSE is stomping ants or else he or she would get disrupted.

So I made the cinnamon ingredient and got the orange thing, but before my person sprayed the ants she got interrupted and now the ingredient is just sitting in the workshop and they're still stomping ants. What do I do?

How to get rid of ants-
1) drag a mom or dad onto a brown pot thing on the kitchen counter.
2) they will "prepare the cinnamon ingredient"
3) drag that same adult onto a yellowish orangish thing by the bins by the gate
4) they will "finishing the ant spray"
5) clear all people (kids/adults) out of kitchen. Other wise you will not be able to finish
6) the adult will get rid of the ants
7) you will get the goal ant terminator and 100 coins. HOPE THIS HELPED

I simply minimized the game for a couple of minutes and when I brought it back up, the ants were gone. May have been a flukey thing, as I minimized it specifically to come and look for answers on how to get rid of the little buggers. Found these answers here, but when I went back to the game, the ants had disappeared.
Answer from: Sammy
Lynnie, that's because they disappear sometimes, but they won't be gone for good. The only way to stop them from reappearing is to use the cinnamon ingredients and yellow tng by the bin to create the ant spray so you can exterminate them.
Answer from: Fishkafoon
Drag an adult onto the brown pot by the sink - the pot will appear over the coffee maker. Allow the adult to prepare the cinnamon ingredient. They'll move from the kitchen to the workshop in the process. A mixture will appear on the top right workshop table. When the parent walks away, being sure they're still not preparing the ingredients (click on them to check their action), click on the second parent and drag them to the yellow mound at the left edge of the trash bins. They will finish the ant spray. Allow them to finish. They'll putter about in the workshop then will move to the kitchen to spray on their own accord. NOTE: The first time I tried this goal, I dragged the parent to the workshop when they initially picked up the cinnamon. The cinnamon disappeared and I had to start over again. Do NOT click on the parent. Just watch them as they're preparing and finishing. I found it much easier getting rid of the ants once the kids were out of the home. The goal would likely be easier to attain before having kids, too. There's more focus and less clicking/dragging when it's just the parents involved (unless you want the challenge involving the kids, which means clicking and dragging them out of the kitchen before spraying). Hope this helps. Good luck!

I tried to drag my adults onto the cinnamon thing on the kitchen counter countless times but they never start to prepare the ingredients in the workshop. I had second family and there it worked right away. This is frustrating!
