Getting rid of furniture u started with?
Can u get rid of the furniture that was in the house when u first started the game? Like I have 2 computers and desks.. How do I get rid of it? It won't let me drag it!

You are supposed to be able to place them outside the front gate. Have not tried it myself.

Yep, must be in decorate mode and drag item outside front gate to sell.

You can't get rid of these items, for example the computers are essential for some careers. All the items in the house to begin with are needed for one essential component or another.

Go on deceration mode and drag it to the outside of the front gate, it works.

The items in the kitchen, bathroom, computer room, & workshop that were there when you started the game cannot be moved around or removed (sold by dragging them past the front yard fence). It's just how the game is. Anything you purchase like a sofa or a tv can be but just not items that the game started with in the rooms I mentioned.
