In the work shop you'll see red fire extinguishers next to a table. Place an adult onto them and it should say " putting out fire" or something similar as their action.

If that does not work, shut your device off, and then on again.

Touch an adult and drag it to the work shop where you see a red thing beside the table (fire extinguishers) then the person will rush to the stove to take out the fire! good luck! :)
