After they move out and if you don't choose them to start a new generation, you never see them again. You just assume they are out doing something else. I think occasionally they might send emails though.

I assume that they grow up like the main child, go to college and graduate. Basically they do what normal kids do: age, start family, and move away.

They just disappear, if you look on your family tree, you will see their pictures but you cannot interact with them. So in other words they are gone.
