For 4 generations now I have had to adopt for all of them even when the date & time are right.... Why?

Maybe you should try and make sure your iPod, iPad, or iPhone is set to the right date if not that maybe causing your problem plus the older your little person gets the less frequent they are Hope I Helped :)
