Parents died but not kids
My parents died but not my kids! I got a baby when my parents were old and now the parents are dead but my kids are alive. Help!
Answer from: Fatty
Not sure but I think you wait till the kids go to college. (If you still have money by then) then start a new generation or I guess you'll just have to start over? I dunno

Get them to sell collectibles from the yard online, the same thing happened to me, that way they survive :)

All you have to do is take care of them til each one goes to college! Find collectables and sell them. Chance yourself on lotto tickets! They'll be fine.

I am searching for answers too, my people died and their adoptive 13 year old is left. Note that this happened after I was messing with date and time settings. I have money so I will post what happens. Believe me it can happen, weird.

If they have older brothers or sisters send rhem to boarding school they will look after them there if you have enough money and then just start a new generation with one of their older brothers and sisters that have left for college!

Go to the Menu, than Family. There will be a button that says New Generation. Your kids will then be all grown up and ready to start a new generation. :)
