Answer from: Devina808
Maybe its meant to be a dining room? Or an exercise room? A room that would naturally be aromatic? idk. just a guess.
Answer from: Tina
No because my kids stand there and smell it too.
Answer from: Confused
That's weird. That's my playroom too but they don't smell anything…
Answer from: AngelA
I had a game event that found a piece of paper describing "the blue room." It was to be an addition to he house as the "boys" room! So, I am thinking the smell could just be: a) a nursery smell or b) smelly because it IS the boys' room.

Well with a maid the room should not stink. lol. Mine is a bedroom and I usually smack em for smelling the room. It gets on my nerves.
Answer from: Miss Gemini
They go out for fresh air after smelling the room. I believe it will be revealed later that something tragic happened there, or that the smell is just a reminder of the people that lived there. It is the bedroom for my adults, because it's attached to a bathroom. I still have two rooms to fix up. One is the biggest room by the back porch & the other small room connected to the upstairs bathroom.
Answer from: missusbyrd
They used to have funerals in that room. Also, chemicals we're found in there. It makes ur little people itchy and you have to keep buying them cortisone creme. :-(
Answer from: coolgirl
Ya and you should take a sofa and block it off if ya don't want to buy them cortisone creme.
Answer from: Leslie

Answer from: Banana
I looked in the room and there was no garbage, but on the home renovation thing it said that the blue room was not completely finished even though I bought it and the workers came. Does that have to do anything with it?
Answer from: Blue room smell
Yeah same here. I got the blue room and they always say smelling the room. Idk but its weird.
Answer from: Blue room smell
I do actually agree with is the best. You know those notes that you family finds with Margaret and all that? I found one of those saying that the second bed room will become the room for the dead. No wonder it smells. :-[
Answer from: creampuff
Personally, I think the whole Margaret thing is a little creepy, has anyone else found the funeral book? And the blue room is the one th as t had all the toxic waste in it right?
Answer from: summerxskye
It is toxic chemicals! Eventually you will get a notification asking if you want to report it, that toxic chemicals were found. DO report it, and they'll give you cortisone cream free. Other than the smelling, it doesn't seem to have much else bearing on the game. I hope as it gets updated maybe they will build more on the storyline about it :)
