How can I help my little ones overcome depression (Closed)
My little people are depressed and I think renovation could help them but I am low on money. Anyways, I was wondering if there is any other way for them to overcome it. (Other than upgrading them)
Answer from: candyrocks
Make sure you praise them often and check the flea market for candy for them. Hope this helps! ;)

Tell your people to work on their career. Praise them 3 times. They will start to run away, but drag them back to work. Repeat. That should work after many, many times. Even when you are not on the game, they will work, giving you more money! If you don't like that answer, press the people pages thing and on the top left hand corner there should be an upgrade me button. Click on it and choose the one where it says to overcome depression. Good luck!

I forgot to say that the praising 3 times thing will also make them happier, along with helping them make more money.

I had the same problem, and I just did things that My little people enjoyed. If you can find candy in the stores, it is great for depressed children, but sometimes it wont work on the adults if the adults are depressed. if you click on your little person, and then click on the little box on the left side it should bring up the little person's information. If you have a lot of coins you can go to upgrade me and then buy phsycotherapy for 1750 coins. If not? The little person might have things they like and dislike. You just have to make your person happy. if they are depressed because of a loss of a loved one, it will only take a few hours and they will be okay again. if its their health, get a doctor consultant (495 coins). If you dont have enough coins, give them lots of rest, praise them a lot, feed them a lot and give them lots of food. try to avoid making them do stressful things such as cleaning the house and doing their job. if you take care of them long enough like this they will get better in just a day or two (maybe longer depending on the severity of the depression.)

I gave my Little Person, Marco, 2 pieces of candy from the Flea Market. I gave him a sweet mango and a cinnamon candy. He went from depressed to not feeling fresh. I'm looking for a movie to boost his happyness to elated.

Yes, candy and movies work on kids but one of my adults, Roxy, has been depressed for a few days now. It boosts their happiness if you give her/him the perfume on either if your people if one is depressed. Hope this helped you!
