Where does she work?
Okay so my mother in the game is a truffle critic. Does she work in the kitchen? I'm not sure because she just had a baby and I heard that they wont work when they have just had a baby. Thanks.

Yes she WILL work in a kitchen and so will: Fish Cleaner, Jam maker, Jam inspector etc, etc... hope I helped

Yes she's a kitchen career just wait till the baby is 2 and she'll start working and making money. More kitchen jobs are: gum chewing designer, jam maker, cater and anything that has to do with food.

Okay let's get this clear:
1) Click on the 'Store' button.
2) Select 'Career'
You'll see all the different types of tools for each career. That may help you figure out the careers, which are:
1) Office-based career
Drag your person to the computer for them to work!
2) Kitchen-based career
Drag your person to the kitchen workspace! In the little bar your person has, it'll read 'He/She sees the kitchen work area"
3) Workshop-based career
Drag your person to the workshop, which has a few wooden tables in it!
Oh, and truffles are a kind of food, so she's definitely working in the kitchen! I've had a truffle critic before :>
