Game Question & Answers
How can I stop all the socks?!
Is there anyway to clean multiple socks at a time? It's so darn slow! I get a lot from the time cheat and I know I probably shouldn't use it...
Answer from: YanyanJulie
Unfortunately u can't. But I do time cheats, but I'm a pro at it so I don't really worry much about that. If you can, try hiring a maid. But sometimes she's tricky, she she's not at your house doing her duties. At least the socks will be gone soon. Just visit every other time to pick up socks. Have a big family to help pitch in with clean up. I hope I helped....

Do you need to clean the socks from the pile in the laundry room or the ones all over the house? If it's the laundry room pile, there is a certain place on the pile that if you place your person on, it will put the entire basket of socks in the wash. I font know exactly where it is, but if you keep dragging the person on different places, you should find it. If it's the socks all over the house, unfortunately there is no faster way to do this except to have the whole family picking up socks at the same time or to hire a maid. The maids and gardeners are worth it by the way, if you have the money I would get both. Hih!

Romancefreak, that is interesting about that pile of socks, never knew that! Would of so loved to have known that, that pile of socks got on my last nerve. Sheshez, believe they covered you on the sock thingie, but it gives the kids something to do. I also found that as generations go on the socks are not a big thing anymore. Also, the maid does stop all of that, even if she's not there, once you buy that option the socks and the black dirt spots more or less stop. If you can't afford a maid when you can get the washer& dryer the socks slow way down. But, let's face it they are always there, it's part of VF..

I hated the socks too! This is how I got rid of them. I hired a maid, next I baught a washing machine and dryer. The socks stopped.

There is a way to banish socks for the rest of the generation.....
1. Make a person (I recomend a child) pick up a sock or wrapper.
2. Praise the person three times.
3. If he/she runs away, drag him/ her back to the sock
4. Repeat 10-15 times.
5. Whatch the socks disapear!
The trick is that whenever there is a sock, your child will rush over to pick it up. Remember to repeat this process every generation.
Or if you're too lazy, just hire the maid.

There is a faster way to pick up socks and wrappers. If you have two colors of the same wrapper or two of the same socks you drag your person to pick up the wrapper, before she throws it away pick her up again and she will not drop the wrapper or sock. Place her on the matching color wrapper or the matching sock. She will pick it up an bring both wrappers to the trash can or the sock pile but she will only throw one away. The other one will stay right at the foot of the trash can but it is a lot easier to get her to throw it away from thier than anywhere else in the house and the same thing goes for the socks! If you just dont feel like picking up anything anymore then hire a maid! HIH!
