Answer from: VF2Expert
I haven't gone through this, but you should delete the game cuz my friend had this problem, and the next day, the game didn't do anything. It completely froze up and she couldn't fix it. I suggest deleting it and reinstalling it.
Answer from: Melikedonuts
Because the mom died, shes out of the family tree.

If the mom passed away it just means the guy is getting married again, its normal. And yes it has happened to me too, HIH
Answer from: KittyKat
The new person he married will act as the new mother as the other one died. It's perfectly normal don't worry!

Happened before, not a big deal

Ok, so there will (obviously) a lot of answers to your question, although, I think you should NOT delete the game. Just don't. You'll lose your progress. What you should do is just accept the proposal of your choice. Then, once the dad and woman are married the woman will be in place of the mom that passed. This should work. If not, well, I suggest that you evict it. That gets rid of the people ONLY. HIH
