How do you upgrade your people?
I need to level up on my adventurer to help the lion? How do you level up?

It's very simple, just keep exploring the clouds and with every exploring clouds you can explore your people. In simple if professor explore 10 clouds then he is on level 10 and if he did 20 then he is on 20 level.

I tried to equip my explorers with the additional equipment. I paid, waited the 24 hours, but once it was complete, the item never appeared, and it still tells me that I need to "equip" in order to do things. Any thoughts?

Explorers only gain levels as you level up through the game. Items you buy in the shop are available immediately but only last for 24 hours. So if you're looking to upgrade The professor you can spend the gold encyclopedia and it will automatically upgrade him three levels for the next 24 hours.

If you buy the equipment: It's functional within the 24 hours not after. So if you need to be level 20 to say help the lion but you're only level 19. Buy the plus 1 equipment and help the lion within the 24 hours.
