How do i get gunpowder?

Basically the title i need to make a goblin workshop and was wondering. How to get the gunpowder needed to do so?

The material you want is not gunpowder. It's quicksilver. I got quicksilver from opening up pirate chests(unlocked at lvl 10), which require diamonds. If you don't want to do that, the only other way is to get gold chests in the grimlands and beyond.
