Question & Answers
Keep the white seahorse?
What do I need to plant to keep the white seahorse in my reef?
Answer from: H0b0jedi
You need to plant a silver bubble coral, an surround it with rocks away from other plants.
Answer from: CanadianClam
I tried all sorts of rocks but didn't surround the coral, after a while, I moved enough rocks around to attract the seahors. Guess surrounding the silver corral was the answer.
Answer from: Avafish
I planted the silver coral and moved one heap of stones and that did it
Answer from: Kirini75
My silver bubble coral is surrounded by 8 rocks in total, but the seahorse doesnt stay. Its away from other plants. I didnt grow a new coral, just moved an existing one. Is that the problem then?
Answer from: Sarahlou
It took me 19 rocks and 2 silver bubble corals to get my seahorse to stay maybe you need more rocks :)
Answer from: Bj
No u don't have to grow a new coral but u do have to surround it by rocks. I used two corals three large rocks and three flat rocks as a group near a crevice and just to the right of a platform.
Answer from: Nbt
I confirm that the coral has to be grown, one is enough but it needs to be surrounded by rocks (can be flat rocks) and away from other plants
Answer from: Shazie
Grr--not working for me. I planted a new coral on a plateau which housed no other plants, moved a pre-existing silver bubble there as well and surrounded them both by 20+ rocks. No luck. Finicky program, I guess.
Answer from: Maggie
Do i need to wait for this mission or can i plant these and attract the fish to come?
Answer from: Shaibabycakes
You have to wait for the mission
Answer from: shirlene
U used 2 existing bubble coral, and placed 3 rocks beside it. and i placed them between 2 platforms. it worked.
Answer from: Turbogirl30
I grew a new silver bubble coral in between 2 rocks and next to a platform. Worked! Thanks everyone.
Answer from: markiemark

Answer from: Mach1wife
I have 5 rocks (the pointy ones) and 7 flat rocks and had to grow the bubble coral. but I have it on a ledge away from everything else worked great.
Answer from: Tambo333
I can't get this to work! And I can't buy rocks anymore??
Answer from: kiddakat
I had to put a few more rocks around. i put my bubble coral right up next to a ledge. then surrounded it with a mix of pointy rocks and flat rocks. i had to make sure i had no gaps next to it at all. Including on top of the ledge. took me a long time but got there in the end.
Answer from: Tambo333
Finally figured out that I could still buy more rocks, duh! Lol and got my seahorse to stay
Answer from: Anniegwillicar
Yep lots of rocks around a silver bubble coral on a lower ledge away from everything else thank you!
Answer from: Suenemobrazil
I used 4 heaps of stones and 4 rocks around a new silver bubble coral and it worked. The white seahorse really showed up. :-)
Answer from: GraceyLondon
I planted one silver bubble coral in a niche and surrounded it with 3 regular rocks. It worked. Thanks all for the info! I'm GraceyLondon in the game if anyone wants to stop by and take a look... got tons of stuff planted, ready to harvest.
Answer from: Nikid
You have to plant the rock with bubble coral next to the drop off...that's what makes the difference
Answer from: Rhs
5 rocks around silver in a low spot.
Answer from: Muis
Took me a lot of time! But if you try a set up leave it for 5 minutes or so, if your white seahorse does not swim to it re-arrange your stones. (The game doesn't let you know instantly if you arranged it right) I placed 1 silver bubble coral in a drop off away from everything. Do not put the coral against the wall, put flat rocks and heaps of stones lining a wall then your bubble coral and finish your circle with pointy stones and more flat rocks around it.
Answer from: HT
You can only use the rock and flat rock. No heaping stones or boulders!!
Answer from: Woofy
Observed the seahorse as I planted a new silver bubble, planted rocks on either side, and a heap of stones in front/left, everything touching. Put down 3 flat stones in front. No response. Moved the heap of stones to the right - no response. Moved and turned the heap of stones a little further but still touching the coral and the seahorse stayed. All of this took about 20 minutes. The bubble coral wasn't mature when the seahorse decided to stay. This arrangement is 3 squares away from fire coral on the right and nothing else on the plateau at the back. I moved stuff off the plateau to make room.

So I attracted it and its always there but havnt confirmed the quest is complete as I still have the silhouette icon I've tried one exisiting silver surrounded by all various rocks waited a day then moved them around planted another surrounded them moved all other plants a few spaces away tried the top left and right corners and even the botton right crevice and cant get the mission complete. Im a level 15 and havnt attracted any jelly fish and my vitality ranges from 85-95% I have tons of coral amd rock combos and tons of the tiny and rare fish but only kept the first dragon and green seahorse the white one is there just cant get the darn coral and rock combo to work!
Answer from: Wennepen
Ik have 25 normal stones in a circle around a lower ledge, with 3 silver bubble corals and around that 5 big rocks, en 6 small rocks, and 4 piles of rocks. It did the job!! Suddenly the seahorse began to swimm and i completed the mission! :D Thanx for the help!!
Answer from: Fytv8
Spent ages arranging heaps of stones, rocks and silver coral in different isolated areas, then finally grew another new coral and placed one pointy rock next to it and it worked straight away!
Answer from: Ne-Ne
I'm at level 18 and I always try to maintain around 100% vitality. Right know I'm exactly at 100, but the white seahorse or green seahorse has never visited me. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
Answer from: drea
The white seahorse will try to go into populated areas, but is often so shy that they will retreat back into the creveces of nearby rocks and metallic coloured corals. A bubble shape is pleasing to the white seahorse. Place a rock and plant a silver bubble coral. This is the clues the game gave me!!
Answer from: Mtk
I bought the hint and found this amusing truth: It's nothing about rocks nor coral to keep the seahorse. They need green plants to hide out, and what you need to grow is green seaweed cluster.
Answer from: noon
Place your rocks be sure to leave a space for the coral, then grow the silver bubble coral in the rocks.
Answer from: Starr2404
Noonhas the best way to do it. I used an already planted silver bubble coral as my guide to make sure the rocks were surrounding it, (it has to be 8 rocks) make sure there's no other plants around it then remove the old coral and plant a new one and the silver seahorse will stay. Add me for friends Starr2404

I tried several different methods suggested. Finally, I started using the rocks called, simple. "rock" (not the flat rocks or heap of stones). I put one silver bubble coral on a platform by itself, moved one of my rocks onto the edge between the silver coral bubble and plants on the ground next to the platform, purchased another "rock" and put it right next to the "rock" I just moved. and planned to keep building a group around the silver bubble coral, but apparently, 2 was enough. Also, my silver bubble coral wasn't even right up against the rocks. 2 spaces between them. FINALLY! Hopefully, this will help others.
Answer from: Wonderland
So, you HAVE to grow a new silver bubble coral and surround it by rocks for me it worked with any kind of rocks. And put it away from other plants.
Answer from: nemonemo
One silver bubble coral and one heap of stones and one rock in an isolated place did the trick.
Answer from: Hannah S
All I just did was plant the silver bubble, then surround it with two flat rocks, two heap of rocks, and then one plain rock. that seamed to work . thanks guys ! ; )
Answer from: Elaine
Success! Just planted a NEW bubble and a NEW rock close to the RH side of reef on the low level. Instant! Now I can get rid of a whole bunch of superfluous rocks!
