You can sell the plants you bought for half price. Never sell a rare plant grown from seed. Look in the nursery to be sure. Rare plants give vitality even if they are the same. Other plants with only the first of its kind gives vitality. You can sell anything in specials as long as they didn't ask you to plant it. Rare plants usually have light aqua stones around them and always take up four squares. Hope this helps. Ps. Zoom in to see if you can move some closer.

Update on my answer from Jan 20. You CAN sell your rare plants if your plants are at 100%. Just start with the lowest; Green Thalassia and work your way down the list. Be sure you keep at least one of everything. I got rid of 11 G T's, 12 Pink Water Hyssop, and 3 Amber Sea Nymph before they docked my vitality. I was at 100%. Now 99%. I checked my vitality level after each sell. Hope this helps. No expansion at level 28.

DONT SELL EXTRA RARE PLANTS if at 100%!!! I did what Genesis2141 suggested to gain more space so I could continue planting higher value plants. But when I went to Level 32 my rare plant vitality of 100% dropped to 73% I now have a lot of work to get back up to 100% again. Btw - still no expansion at Level 32. Could this be as big as the reef gets?
