Task assigned is for a different level
When I was on level 20 I was to buy two orange shrubs or something, but they're not unlocked until level 22 I think it said. So, this task has been impossible to complete so far. Is that normal? I'm getting tired of having no pearls and things getting more expensive.

Keep planting mystery seeds. I had the same question and i co pleted this mission just by playing my normal game. The key is to plant as many mystery seeds as possible, and try NOT to level up. The more mystery seeds, the more rare plants/fish, the higher the vitality, the higher chances you have of more plants/fish. A good boost is to buy 85 pearls for two bucks, it helped me. Also, your daily bonus should help too
