Red octopus in nemo reef?

I have a red octopus and not enough pearls to get the hint. It says it's playful and likes vibrant colours? Any tips?

It just says it likes stringy plants to get tangled up in. But I'm not sure what that would be.

I planted both ciripathies next to each other... The lilac finished first and as soon as it did, got a message congratulating me for a rare fish ( the octopus) I think u only need the lilac one.
