How to keep the red octopus?

I've got the hint and it says that it will stay to play in "stringy plants" but I don't know which plants it would class as stringy? I've planted fan corals, turquoise stems etc but nothing seems to work?

I don't have the red octopus myself but I would try to plant some red seaweed, comes at level 27, together. They are stringy enough and it seems that many of the fishes are attracted to their own colour.

I planted one lilac cirrapathe.... Nothing. I planted a red and that did the trick. Not sure if it is the color or the number that matters...
