How to keep the red octopus? (Closed)
I've got the hint and it says that it will stay to play in "stringy plants" but I don't know which plants it would class as stringy? I've planted fan corals, turquoise stems etc but nothing seems to work?
Answer from: Almispalmis
I don't have the red octopus myself but I would try to plant some red seaweed, comes at level 27, together. They are stringy enough and it seems that many of the fishes are attracted to their own colour.
Answer from: nemogirl69
Im guessing it could be the red cirripathes because they are red and stringy like. hope it works!

Answer from: krys
You must have one lilac and one red cirripathes
Answer from: Klbhsbosdihbc
Where do you find the cirripathes?
Answer from: katara62
You may already have a lilac but you need to buy another one if that does not work, also buy one red cirripathes just in case. Then before you know it you should have a red Octopus.
On ornamental the 10th box you should find the lilac unless you want the red cirripathes then you will still go on ornamental but it will be the 17th box is were you should find the red cirripathes.
Answer from: Reef12203617
Plant the lilac and red cirripathes next to each other. I planted a bunch of them because they don't use my much-needed algae and they don't need much space.
Answer from: Peachy
What could cause you not to have low guest %, I have 100% in all the other areas. I followed hints to get the different ones and still no guests.
My reef is jennny194143, please help.
Answer from: fishmom
The fish don't come from you planting the hints, they come from the rare plants.
You keep them when you do the hints. I know it stinks, but keep planting those rare seeds.
Answer from: m&m lovers
I am trying yo get the red octopus and what plants do i need and i am on level 16.
Answer from: Lilaberry
1 red cirripathes ans 1 lilac then just grow them ( but i planted 3 each)
Answer from: Reef26880421
Ok. I've planted everything that people have listed. Nothing has worked. Ok. Apparently its some combo of yellow, blue, long twisty red and lilac plants AND: can't be preexisting. Must be planted. I grouped all of those together. Nothing. I plant all of those together. Octo is mine.
