Is anyone still planting enigmatic seeds?

Friends you get by leveling up and/ or planting items featured in specials, Guests you get by planting a certain combo of items, planting seeds is the only way to get rare fish. Plant lots of them; most will duplicate. Every now any then you will get a rare fish.

But why the "enigmatic" seeds as opposed to the other kinds? Mystery seeds give just as many duplicates, and cost a lot less.

I get a rare plant 9 out of 10 times I plant that seed. Those cheap seeds just give me junk like sea weed!! :(

Are you talking about the Extraordinary Mystery Seeds for 10 pearls, or am I not far enough along in the game to have Enigmatic Seeds? I've planted two of the Extraordinary ones and both times gotten rare fish, but out of the 8 regular mystery seeds I've planted so far I've gotten 4 rare fish. Not a bad ratio as far as planting. I'm only level 13.

Ive planted 2 extraordinary seeds which costed mo 20 pearls but they turned out to be the same rare plants! It only attracted one rare fish. What a waste of pearls! :(

To SchmooGoo. I'm on level 24. The Enigmatic Seed will appear on higher level, can't remember which one exactly. Though after planting couple of those and getting just ornamental staff I stopped planting them. PS Violet area helped to get more rear plants from the mistery seeds, thanx!

The enigmatic seed shows up at level 20 or 21, I've only bought one but it did give me a new rare plant & fish. Whew! They are pricey!
