Treasure chest patterns ?
Hey has anyone found a pattern for the appearances of treasure chest? . I can go so long without seeing one (days) and then have a dozen appear within an hour. Sometimes I don't notice it on time and it disappears. If anyone has tips on patterns or specific areas to find them it would help. Thanks

I think it is dependent on how long you play for. If I play for a shirt period I hardly ever get a chest, but when I stay for longer I can get many treasure chests - often one after another. Also, I think I get chests after I have planted a lot of mystery seeds. Perhaps that is when they appear most frequently?

When u open the chest & it says free coins or algae, but when you look on the coins it doesn't change? Even if you get algae?

I havent been able to figure it out either. It seems to me, they would get people to play longer if they made it more predictable and frequent. It also would be more fun. I've gotten some very low rewards from them lately, so am reluctant to pay for any. I'm tired of getting ripped off!

Mel, you need to check your coin or algae count before you open the chest. It gets credited immediately you click open so you don't see it happen! I started writing my total down before opening, and then you realise it is adding them to your totals.

So far, I've benefited from opening chests (I pay 100 coins and get 150, for example), but today it asked if I wanted to use 4 pearls to open it and I turned it down. Does the chest ever reward less than what it costs to open? I was afraid of spending pearls in case it paid coins.

I used 6 pearls to open a chest once and only got 4 inside it - I felt ripped off

I guess I've been lucky, cause every time I open a chest with pearls I get almost double the amount of pearls I spent. Also, is the same for algae and coins. You have to roll the dice I guess!

It does give you less sometimes. For instance, for the last two days I've been getting a treasure chest in which I must pay seven pearls for one hundred sixty eight algae. It is very annoying yet I cannot change it!

Since the weekend treasure hunt 7pearl chests are very frequent and only 100 and some algae is the prize beware

When i play for a long time and collect from my plants i get a lot of chests. There was a homework quest where you needed to open 10 chests for a rare fish, and i finished in an hour without spending any pearls. I got 1 or 2 chests each time that wanted pearls, and then 1 or 2 chests that were either free or asking for SD.

Planting mystery seeds isn't always worth it sometimes it gives you things you already have a lot of.

I have discovered A treasure chest that's free has no latch, so check them out ,they are always free.
