Make a spear and search and find trees and sometimes you will find animals with red eyes that try to hurt you and you will get leather or fur.

Use a spear to stab donkeys and dropbears. A spear can be crafted with 1 stick and 1 flint when you have built the tool bench. Be careful, though, you can get badly injured.
