Possible to time travel for Androids?
Time travel with Android? OK, now that the Android gift giving glitch is sadly gone, does anyone know if it is possible to do the time travel date thingy on an Android device?maybe one of you techy people (hint- Argh!) Could break it down if it's a possibility. I'm still looking for a few great friends as I recently cut a few people, no one from this site of course. Code is OJK4YE. Please let me know if you added me and thanks to all my wondrous friends, new and old.
Answer from: Argh
I'm afraid I don't have an android device so can't offer much advice, but I can say I have never seen an android player confirm it can be done. I think nitey4ever is your best bet, as I've seen nitey offer great android advice before.

I can time travel on my galaxy note. I do it exactly the same way as on my iPad. I issue my gifts and vist friends, then move the setting date back two days, enter the game, issue all my gifts and visit just one friend. Then I return to settings, move the date forward one day, then can send another 50/60 gifts and can visit as many friends as I have energy for Because the date moving will have replenished a certain amount of energy and strength then I return to settings, move day one more time so I am back to correct time. I will then be able to gift and visit again. Repeat process as necessary but never move forwards in time beyond the current date. Just move one or two days backwards and return to the right date one day at a time. Don't miss a day or you'll break the chain of days. And bear in mind that some people have completely messed their games up by doing this so although most people are fine, you need to realise you are taking a risk and consider carefully whether you want to do it or not.

Mac is right - it's is possible but not without risks! It's just the same with the iPad really. The one advantage with the iPad is that an iTunes back up stores your game data too. I do a lot of travelling so backing up daily is just routine for me now, because at least I can go back if it causes a problem!
cr91958 - I'm in your wr - I keep a big list but look after everyone properly - visit and gift every day (unless I'm running a bunch of 24hr talismans lol) - nice to see you made it over to ZZ on FB :)

OK, just learning about time travel. I have an iPad and live in US (Eastern time). I suppose my iPad autoset the times since I didn't change it and we just had DST. Can you provide a bit more direction, please??

My Kindle Fire, which is on the Android platform, doesn't allow me to manually change date and time; I can choose a different time zone, but it doesn't do anything. Hope you're not on a Kindle...
