Question & Answers

Are you serious?

Is my math wrong? It must be 14, 000 ladybugs to finish the job? That is the green.

Nope. You are not wrong... Although, I got 15,000 when I looked, I think you are correct.

Woosh too over my head! Contact or post to @NU WILDCAT, who is, in my eyes, a mathematician.

I'll give it a guess. Is that the number of ladybugs that is required to obtain the green frame?

Posted: 2 months ago

Answer from: Argh
It takes approx. 9,350 ladybugs to turn the Mill green from scratch (that's approx. 3,350 to get to Academician and exactly 6000 to get to 100% Academician).

14,000 ladybugs is the number of ladybugs it takes to go from 0% Magister to 100% after you just turned the picture green (400 plays at 35 ladybugs per play). But there is no new level after Magister, so after you reach 100% you just go to 101%, 102%, 103% etc. So technically, it takes infinite ladybugs to finish the job.

Oh, ok. I see said the blind man.

Answer from: Sggggggg
So - that is about 23, 350 Ladybugs to turn the Mill green and go to 100% at Magisters level from scratch? (Assuming no losses that is)

Any mathematicians out there have the numbers from scratch to green for the Illusionist room (carrots) and the Night Garden (fireflies)?

Answer from: Sggggggg
Oh green and 100% on both those rooms?

Answer from: Sggggggg
Oops sorry one more... and for the updated folks, Tavern (Arrows)?

Posted: 2 months ago

Answer from: Argh
Yes exactly Sggggggg - approx. 23,350 from opening the picture to reaching 100% Magister (some of the picture levels have odd increments of percentage increase for each play so you might end up playing 1 more or 1 less to get passed that level, which is the only reason I say approximately).

That number is true for all of the pictures that require special items as they all follow the same pattern of needing 5 for each play when you open them (novice level) and each new picture level adding another 5 to the requirements until Magister (the 7th level) which needs 35 for each play.

But like you said - that is assuming you never fail a picture investigation and also you never activate a Santa's amulet

Answer from: Jules
S7g - do you mean tree of dates that needs arrows? Cos if its the tavern that needs arrows, my system is having a wonderful glitch!!
At the rate I'm travelling, I'll be excited if I can ever get the illusionists room & mill to gold, let alone pink!

Posted: 2 months ago

Answer from: Grey
Basically, to get to the 100% in any picture that requires special items! you will need 23,350 each of:
Ladybugs
Firefly jars
Carrots
Cupid arrows

And these items cannot be directly asked for.
You used to be able to change your FB avatar to include a pic of an item... But the FB bug nixes that
You can still spend 3 crystals to change your name to ask for them.

Answer from: Sggggggg
@Jules - Apologies for my error and thanks very much for the correction above to avoid confusion for others who might read this post. Yes, Tree of Dates is what I should have said.

@Grey -Besides the name change method you mentioned above, there is a "special code" that players use here in this forum to request the element items you cannot put up in the wishlist. I am not saying this is 100% perfect, sometimes you will actually get the collection item if someone does not know the code but this is what I have read in quite a few previous posts over the last 6 months.

Mandrake root (from Magical Ingredients collection) = Carrots
Mushroom Tea ( from Tea Collection) = Fireflies
Brush made with Goat Hair (from Paintbrush Collection) = Ladybugs
Cupids bow? (Collection?) = Arrows

The reason I don't know collection on Cupids Bow is that I am not updated to the Tavern version yet.

Answer from: Sue
Hi Sggggggg - it is from the Legendary Bows collection :-)

Thanks so much for posting this. With being able to get so many items from so many wonderful friends, I never worried much about those items because I would combine collections (Figjam and her thousands of paintbrushes:)).

I have never used my Santa talisman. It seems my game would freeze more frequently with the more talismans I was running, and I would run them all together so it was already bad enough. However, now that I've read this, I will use Santa and then play those 4 pix lots! Thanks so much for all the calculating, and thanks Sggggggg for reminding everyone of the codes.

Trying to make sure I get all my gifts out daily, but haven't had time to visit. Will be on-and-off for the next few weeks but check in here at time:).

Chirping in here to say this has been my latest self set task. I am so pleased I now have green magister level and have tonight completed
The Mill
Illusionist Room
Night Garden
Tree of Dates
I've managed to get them all to 100% on green phew that took determination. And mostly some wonderful generous friends.

WOW Congrats Dee! So, do you play on a touchscreen laptop with a great internet connection? :) I ask because my stuttering little kindle dampens my desire to do so, although I've only been having intermittent time to play this month. And, what's your new goal now? :)
