Question & Answers
Is the tournament broken?
Can someone tell me how a guy can have 35 wins and 8 losses and have 1074 trophies? That means he's getting 30 trophies a win how is that possible?
Answer from: Rokassan
You were in the same tournament as me. I was wondering this as well.

Keep hitting the search button, spending the extra coins to find another challenger, & you'll eventually come across high, level 50 opponents with 260 health, worth anywhere between 16-34 trophies for beating them. Not an easy task to win the match though. Normally, they'll have several gold cards & a few black cards as well. I've sometimes had to spend over 100,000 gold coins just to find one, but definitely worth it not taking such a toll on your heart meter - Good luck!
Answer from: Assassin
My names Assassin in card wars and he/she must have won 35 in a row playing level 50s.

The number of trophies you deck is worth if someone else challenges it is primarily based not on the rarity & number of gold cards in your deck, but in your card box. When you search for a new player to challenge, the trophy count rises quickly with the number of gold & truely rare cards the opponent has. I've won four 42-trophy stakes, and lost to a guy valued at 23 who had three (3!) Camera Dudes, a Timmy Magic Eyes, & two Corn Castles, all played on the first turn. I managed to block 2 attacks & take out 1 Camera Dude, which was promptly replaced with a fourth, & all floops used. Turn 2 I had -5 magic available, & he had a full board of creatures! I got stomped by "Daveycrocket" so badly it was laughable! I even have screenshots of my beating; considering he had 4 copies of a card only available through tournaments, which cycle through 5 factions and last for 2-week each, I'm left assuming he either duped, hacked, or was on the beta team, because I guarantee Blue Plains hasn't cycled through the tournaments & awarded Camera Dude 4 times since releasing this game about 7 months ago! Anyway, I was left wondering something similar to the original question here: one guy, "Timothy" recently won 92, lost 0 and had 7237 trophies, an average of 78 per game. Keep your deck slim, avoid filler cards that aren't efficient at dealing damage/destroying other creatures (I love Herculeyes: mini glass canons [great with Flame Princess] that can typically deal 21 damage per turn to a creature or wipe the creature out to then get some damage on your opponent, especially good in the early turns). Avoid filling your deck with behemoths: if you can't cast a creature until turn 4 (where you have 5 MP), you likely already lost. Don't do the opposite (unless you have to, to get 12 or 14 in a deck) by filling it with cannon fodder like Mouthball, Wandering Bald Man or Nice Ice Baby (that one's good for keeping behemoths at bay until you can deal with them, but ultimately you ought to replace it with a card that can already deal with said behemoth, thus quickening your deck). "Search," try someone harder, and improve your deck to make tournament life easier & pull down some serious trophies!
Answer from: Da Mothafluffer
I'm level 29 just for this reason. AKA Da Mothafluffer. I realized the lower level you are the more trophies you get when you play higher opponents. So I stopped building my character. One time I played a deck with a ridiculous level 469, his life was in th 3000's, but in the tourney it was maxed out at 260. Fortunately all my cards lined up and I blocked every hit and beat him. Ended up getting 200 something trophies and jumped from 4th to 1st. So yeah, don't be a hater, it's possible.
