You don't. There are no secret recipes but if you're on the goal to learn a new recipe, all you have to do is go to the bistro and sell one of your recipes you already have and then re-buy it.

No morbro410, that's not it, ok, what you have to do is sell any recipes you might have, THEN you buy ALL of them, then the goal should say, GOAL COMPLETE: DISCOVER A NEW RECIPE. Hope I helped.
