How the hell you suppose to expand your territory and gain soldiers when the mayans and vikings attack one after another. No time for strategy on this level, you get attacked very early. Need help on this last roman quest...

If you want to mission just build maybe 6 storage and then make alot of coal and iron in there and try to have alot of soldiers like 350 solldiers to defeat mayan first dont attack viking fisrt if you attack viking the mayans go to help viking to kill all of your tower so you will lose.

Make sure you have a priest and have plenty of manna so that you can turn their soldiers into your own. they should stop. then attack Vikings or mayans but if you attack Vikings destroy all of their towers and try to make a colony there. then charge the remaining troops to the mayans and you will win

The problem with using priests magic to provide a little gold is the spells become more 'expensive' the more times you use one, you really do need to find those gold deposits and keep them. To start, Keep your medium Tower, fully man it. Build small towers to expand your territory, man them (1 soldier) and leap frogging, set a new tower site and then destroy the old one, move your now homeless soldier to the new site, you will find your territory doesn't shrink or change with the tower(s) gone. The idea here is, it's a lot easier to defend 1 medium tower than several small one's, and you can concentrate your forces around your one main tower to help fend off the occasional skirmishes the Mayans and Vikings will send. There is coal and iron in the hills to the south enough to get started. Expand to the east and you will find a snow caped mountain with coal, iron, stone and that all important gold, remember to destroy towers as you go, you can't lose territory if there is no tower to take.
Take your time, build up your farms to feed your mines, replace the men in your central tower with better forces as you can. Attack the Mayans first, you are going to need a large force to break them, I went in with around 40 men first time and got whipped as Mayans warriors appeared out of the woodwork - went in with 90-100 second time, got payback on the Mayans and still had enough men to kick the Viking's butt.
