Complete thanksgiving day event
For thanksgiving we can hunt turkeys and collect awards for turkeys caught and prices received. i've constructed all 4 special buildings, the big turkey over the entrance has disappeared, but still i don't get the "complete thanksgiving day event" award. am i missing something??

You needed to build the turkey float after you get all 4

I have a droid x and have run into the same problem. i did not build all 4 of the thanksgiving buildings until the big turkey over the entrance disappeared. what is making me even more mad is that i purchased a good amount of piastres in order to build the 4 structures, because the turkey float makes a lot of money, and <thankful -- fulfill "thanksgiving day" event> award gives a lot of xp, money, and piastres. the only thing that i can think of is that we needed to build all of these structures before the thanksgiving event was over (before the big turkey over the entrance disappeared). however, this doesn't make much sense because there is an award for completing the thanksgiving day event; i don't think the developers of paradise island would make an award that is impossible to achieve for people like us that didn't finish the event before the time expired. hopefully it's just a bug in the system and they figure it out soon!

It's because you needed to obtain all the resources for each building. then also for the main one. with the timer under it. at the very bottom of that screen it says build.

If you are right, then that sucks. cause i did the same thing. i purchased all of the piastres that i needed iving day buildings. thats crappy if they made it to where those who didnt get it in time can not complete all of the awards. the game disigners need to comp those who tried. we put alot of time into this game. lol.

All their holiday events are the same way. they just want you to spend a bunch of real money to buy the things you need. the christmas event was even worse. these events are almost imposable to complete in the time given unless you spend real money, and lots of it. all the games they put out are the same way.
