Stuck on northern Mexico level

I am stuck on the northern Mexico level w/ difficulty set at Master and I'm hunting with the shotgun. I can't seem to get the 25k points required to unlock the next levels. I shoot the three black bears that present themselves in the level but no more come out; only deer and bighorn sheep remain and neither of those two animals rack up enough points after killing the three bears to get the 25,000 points necessary to beat the level with the shotgun. What do I need to do?
