Joining facebook and tap zoo question

If i allow tap zoo to access my facebook is it going to always post things on my wall like when i buy an animal? i want to see if i can get neighbors but i don't want the rest of fb to hear about it.. can i allow it, get neighbors, and somehow turn around and not allow it??
