I don't want to my monster to be destroyed, so how many monster do I have to send to conquer a level 3 territory?

I once conquered a level 3 area with Mona the bug commander as lead, then I simply gathered my strongest bug type monsters and went to war. Note:you may have to increase your numbers by 10-20 on at least 2 monsters.
