Additional Food Required

I cant upgrade any of my buildings, except for warehouse and farm, because it says "additional food required". I've upgraded my farm to lv 18 and warehouse to lv 16 but it's still not working. Wut do i do!?

When it says more food required what it is really saying is you need more people in your city to expand another building. In addition to your food messages you should also see that your "people meter" in the top right corner is red with too many people for the spots you have. This can happen if you've maxed out your troop and then build a building that needs people, then you go into the red and can't build more. You just need to keep upgrading your farm until the people meter goes back to white. ONLY upgrade farm, upgrading warehouse won't help.
