What is the significance of having a big squad?

It gives you more infantry/tech/weapons in battle. Each squad member gives you 4 more troops in battle. For example, if you had 100 squad members, you would have 400 troops in battle. Having a big squad will give you many troops in battle. Sadly, there is a limit to how many troops you have in battle (depends on your rank).
