Answer from: Does it matter?
Try sticking to regional routes using the crj-1000. only put 1 plane per route so your running 100% occupancy. i never mess with business or first class at first and keep all your meals at the c level. when i open a route i always buy the travel and limo subs. expand your initial hub until you have reached every destination within reach. open a second hub and repeat the process.
i usually leave marketing, maint, and cs alone or only slightly raise them. wait till planes go onsale before taking a loan, then load up and start paying back down your loan. repeat next time planes go on sale.
once your second hub is complete, look for a couple of long haul routes and buy your favorite jumbo from boieng or airbus. think ny to major asian city or hong kong to london. at this point add in 8-10% of your seats to first and business classs and bump up the meals to a. keep buying the subs along the way and fill out your next hub like you did the first two. long before this point you should have already found yourself in first place.

Start in the united states for SURE there is the most cities and the game makers made the US better than any where else in the world. Dont buy crjs they only make little money per quarter spending double the money for a plane will get you 4 times the amount of money. Buy airbus planes from the 320 class mostly the 320-100 which has 180 seats, I know the 321-100 has 40 more seats for 6000k more but they don't fill up unless sending them from like new York to London, Paris , Los angelas, Dallas, Chicago, and Charlotte. Don't use the population of the city as a guide for a good flight it doesnt always work out. Make a lot of flights from new York, los Angelas, Dallas Chicago if you want to make more hubs make Charlotte and fly to almost every city in north America. After make hubs in Paris and London and fly from there to all the cities on the east coast of the US you should be making a shit load of money per quarter over 500000k easily. Always take out a loan I have taking out several and I never go interest on them, put the prices for tickets up to around 80% and B service.

For the original I would sometimes end with over 250,000,000,000k+. I usually built up my company and checked routes every turn until I had 1,000,000,000k then whenever there was an airplane sale I would take the maximum loan from the bank, buy all the air planes I could on sale, and then sell them back next turn and repay the loan with part of the profits. This increases cash and company value greatly. Eventually past 10,000,000,000k you won't even need to worry about how your routes are doing since you'll mostly be watching out for sales and accumulating cash through interest. At 250,000,000,000k my routes were only bringing in 65,000k down from a max of 175,000,000k
