How do you get LINEN?

I been playing this game for a while, I need a boat to sail the seas. The problem is I can't get linen, and as you know, you need linen to make a boat. If you find out how, please post it. Thanks.

Collect flax and make linnem in the tailors bench

Get Flax. U can get it by pressing plants on the ground, get the tailors bench, and make linen
