First step into hell - I keep getting killed at the sniper part

I keep getting killed at the sniper part, after blowing up the tank. the instructions say to keep low and hug the cover. i stay against the rock wall, but keep dying. what am i supposed to do?

Well, i pass that part what do you need to do is that you need to keep low and near the wall. just follow the captain.
