Steel soldier -europe
Ok, this is worse than the jeep mission. how do you drive the tank? the gyroscope does not aim the turret, do you have to aim by swiping yor finger over the screen, but that messes up how you drive the rest of the tank with the joystick pad. once i get up close to the first bunker, i get killed. what do you aim at to kill the bunker? there must be two of these because the next mission is called steel soldiers ii. whoever thought up the two hour wait should be fired, i mean really twenty minutes should be enough. any and all help is appreciated

Well, got through them both, the secon one was really fun. has anyone shot down a plane yet? gonna try that the next time through. the secret is to go slow, take on one by one. foot soldiers first, then tanks, then the bunkers. plan to use reverse a lot as many of the tanks come at you as you go around corners. also, when the aiming hud turns red you know you are on a target so shoot. also if is becomes dark orange you are close enough to make hits, you just need more hits. sometimes moving slightly gives better hit. you can fire and move at the same time the barrel stays where you point it. hold down the fire button and the tank will fire as soon as it is finished reloading. occasionally rotate the turret and look for infantry beside or behind you. good luck.

Also, watch out for infantry on the hill to your left after you take out the first bunker. they are hard to see at first but will take you out quickly. i played this level on my iphone and found that to steer the tank, if i pointed the turret in the direction that i wanted to go, and then tried to drive forward (ie, gyroscope control pushed straight up), that the bottom of the tank swiveled to point in the same direction as my gun. i hope that helps any steering troubles.

Can you shot down a plane? i've tried a few times, but no luck. you will get the feel for the tanks, left thumb moves the tank tracks... right thumb moves the tank barrel. (assuming you hold iphone like me..)

Listen to cpl. hartley; get too close to a bunker and you'll get killed. if the ring is deep orange, it takes about 4 shells; if its red, it takes 3 for bunkers and 2 for tanks. as for the panzerfausts, 1 shell in deep orange range can take out two or three. you can destroy cover positions; you'll clear your way through and reduce anti-tank infantry. it's best to use the d-pad for this mission; i find the gyros hard. your tank will travel in the direction your turret is pointing. personally, i find it helpful to swivel around from time to time, especially if a shell misses. remember, whites are near misses. the arrow is usually a giveaway of where enemies are. advance gingerly is the best approach; make sure there are no enemies before you advance.
