How do you get gold stars?
How do you get the silver and gold ones i have 2 gold 1 silver and the rest are bronze but i have no idea how i got the gold and silver ones

I think youre supposed to not use many medical kits;the less you use, the higher youre star will be. also u have to have a good time(low time) and have killed many enemies (headshots dont do anything)

I believe it is a combination of speed and skill in completing the level.

Try to kill as much of the enemy as possible to get a gold star, don't let them live for another day

After going back and trying out jeff's medikit idea, i can confirm that this is definitely a contributing factor or perhaps it is more from being hit less from the enemy, which consequently will require use of less medikits. either way i managed to get gold stars on levels where i had been more liberal with them to ensure survival.
