Brothers in Arms 2: Global Front Free+ is Gameloft's re-release of their original 2010 game Brothers in Arms 2: Global Front. The original game consisted of 13 campaign missions. In Brothers in Arms 2: Global Front Free+, the original missions have been divided into 52 shorter missions, but the main plot remains identical.
In the original game, a message was displayed to the player upon completing the final mission. If the player chose to let Lieutenant Dyer live, the Department of Defense reviews the evidence and re-awards the Medal of Honor to Private Eric Wilson (screenshot: ). If the player chose to let Lieutenant Dyer die, an alternate message is displayed to the player stating that Corporal David Wilson is still haunted by his brother's death but finds consolation in the fact that Lieutenant Dyer is also dead (screenshot: ). These messages have been cut from Brothers in Arms 2: Global Front Free+. I hope this clears up your questions about the game's ending.
Screenshots of the original game's ending depending on the player's choice to let Dyer live or die.

Thanks for the background there StealthyNubcake. I had not played the 2010 version so was unaware of that however i still believe the last mission is a big let down of an otherwise great game, although that is simply my opinion only.

Eric Wilson died because of Lt.Dyer

@ StealthyNubcake, free + removed the messages, free+ isnt as good, it makes you pay for missions vital to the story and you cant pick up weapons, its like a facebook game. Theres no sprinting or taking cover in BIA 2 free+. Free+ isnt about Wilson anymore so it removes the evidence that proves it isnt you in the war.
