How do i get past the sniper in first step into hell in iso jima. I keep getting killed and i dont even see the guy

Do what sgt.Neissman says stay low and get against the rocks from there just keep walking.

Listen to Lt.12345678. Stay low (crouch) and move along the crooked rocks on the left. You can see the sniper past the crooked rocks but you can't shoot him. DO NOT stand up and try to shoot him. You will die instantly.
