How to get to use the key of inferno?

U need to use the rock cutting sword to get pass it. equip the sword and hit the pole.

actually, evan gives a hunter mission away in which you have to kill a monster in the garden of suffering. maybe that monster possesses the sword. have not tried it, but could be a possibility!

If trying to get in inferno then that's the wrong as u get from top of the canal....... go top the seconds room.... up& left twice then u go to the skull shining and press & u will see a portal open..... click on it and search for a pillar of fire.... ull be done with ur quest

That's true! however, these blue skulls a bit weird... i do not understand when they change into the blue portals. they remain skulls for a long time. the skull to inferno changed into a portal just randomly, although i had tried to push a a lot of times earlier, and nothing happened.

Now i am stuck in inferno for the same reason. i have got the key and can explore the upper left of inferno, but now there is agaoin a blue skull, which does not change into a portal. went back to the base and returned to the skull, but it still does not change into a portal. also the blue skull left to the base (behind the slime animals) still is a skull and does not change into a portal. how does this work?

You need to comlete the main quest to unlock new lands. the inferno opens after defeating a water dragon(15lvl) the portal left of base opens after defeating a count peltos(20lvl) the new base(!) opens after defeating buru spider (30lvl) and that stone pole will be destroed after sand robot(40lvl). you can take a rock-cutting sword scroll with ingredients. ingridients drops from: crazy cloth - naraka(hunter quest), iron spider web - buru(hunter quest) and iron mineral.
