All the messges of getting gold bars if you post xx number of times, usually someones modern war number is a SCAM. All you are doing is to help someone else to rapidly build their alliance numbers. The only way to get "FREE" gold is to follow the directions to sign up for merchant offers, like a netflix account and you will get i think 60 gold bars or there abouts. Ultimately, you will pay for those gold bars no matter how you slice the pie.

This is how I got all my gd bars for free, bought them 6000 goldbars and then I reached 500+ allies and ever since then I have glitches when I go to allies or add an Allie or send a request so I files a chargeback and got every cent back and got to keep the gold, because I had proof of the glitches and that Funzio customer service does not want to make good with people who spend money with them, so buy all the gold then say you have glitches they never checked and I got all my money back....

When u upgrade ore mine 10 times it pays out gold instead of cash; there is also a cheat code used to scan for gold before raided or attack.
