Use a bat supersonic as the base monster. then a nice mix of bats, diablos, and other monsters should pop out a witch. did it a few times, sometimes you end up with a higher lvl bat, but got a witch more than once. seems using a particular base monster yields a specific gem monster (eg. voodoo yields scarecrow).
