Actually the panzer kampfwagon IV is the best German tank. Right now, I'm a Field Marshal 3rd class. I've tried all the German tanks, but this one has got me where I am now. It's a total winner over all the others! Sieg Heil!

Leopard full upgrades for me, I get more kills with its speed than the slower tanks, used t-50 until I got it

Out of all these tanks, I prefer the King Tiger, because of its speed. It also has pretty good firing rates and damage.

I'm a FM1 and I prefer speed 1st. Sight , armor and reload over shell power. Also look at the color ratings next to tank on the tank change screen. The A34 and A30 are the most balanced but I like a challenge so I use the lighter tanks most. BTW I win too against bigger tanks. Just have to use all your weapons.

I'm FM3 and currently use IS3, as IS2 was nerfed in the last update. It is (was) the most powerful tank. But I completely agree with Futurr: A30 Comet and even faster tanks are the only way to fight those cheaters who ride IS-7, Maus and so on.
