Question & Answers

Mines are Upgrades so no keeping up supply?

Since mines are in "upgrade" section, does that mean you don't go through them like "supplies"? Do they stay with you with each new game? And what does the initial purchase of "pack of two" mean? I see a lot of players laying down a lot of mines. With "pack of two", does that equate to only 2 red dots on the screen?

The 2 pack means you will get 2 mines each and every individual game. You never have to re-buy them. If you upgrade again, you will then get 4 mines each game. Likewise for the 3rd and final level; you then have 6 mines each game.

By the shell/flame selection buttons you will see a circle with bright red dots showing you how many mines you have left for that game. Touching the dot drops a mine. Its dot will then become a dark red. It takes a few seconds for the mine to arm. I haven't paid enough attention to tell you how long that takes. I *think* 1 of the shields may resupply your mines as I've noticed once in a while that I could have sworn I used them and then I had more back again. I hardly use them, but they can be great when someone is chasing you.

Just an addition: mines are placed instantly and return to you after their explosion. Place mines in "streets" (when there's little space between buildings) and near corners of buildings on open space (players like to choose the most "rational" path). So, you just need to use mines properly. And BTW, try out the powerful mines perk: with it mines kill even the most powerful tanks.
