How do you change a sims name?
I hadn't been playing w/ a family for a while and a sim was pregnant, she had a baby and the game named it for me and i don't like the name they gave my sim. is there a way to change it?

I think you open the cheat box (ctrl+shift+c) and type in: testingcheatsenabled true, then you press shift and click on your sim and there should be a option saying "change name" and click on it and well, da da!
Answer from: Zander
First ctrl+shift+c then Type testingcheatsenabled true then hold shift and click then click edit sim in create a sim and change his/her name while your there you can edit him/her also.

Ok so do what Zander says you can change the personality and looks of the sim as well. In the bar of sims and profile it will not change the looks right away, but it will fix eventually. On the actual sim, changes will be immediate. Also, just because I found this cool, if you edit a ghost in create a sim you can change their cause of death, which changes how they look.
