Monsters escaping constantly!
How do i keep monsters from escaping, is it linked to the cursed sword?

No. It's normal thing. When your character have Ancient Weaponary, such like Diamond Mace, Holy Lance, Masamune, Cat Claw, Excalibur, Genji Armour, Genji Gloves, Genji Helm, Dragon Armour, Aegis Shield, and that all weapon are find on Jade Passage, your enemy will keep escaping. But it's diffrent when you play FF2 version 2 or up, the enemy will not escape. I can bet if enemies don't want to start escaping, we will die instantly with Death Rider!

That because your party's hp are high

Just use dark magic skills like confuse, stun, stop and whatsoever. it is other alternative and it helps !
